Tapa Paha Tapa ("Kill the Bad Habit" in English) was a Finnish synth-pop/rock combo based in Helsinki during 1983-1986. The core members were Otso Pakarinen, Esa Hyvönen and Jari Heikkinen. There were also two female vocalists at different times: Mirja Nevalainen and Teija-Korkia-Aho. Several other people guested in recordings and gigs. Most of them lived in the same student community where the group had their "swimming pool studio".
The group formed their own label Power records and released a 60-minute cassette called Aurinko ("The Sun"). Subsequent recordings remained unreleased until 2002 when Visual Power released the compilation album Koko Elma ("Col. Lection" in English) |
