A decir del autor Otso Pakarinen (Ozone Player) la música en este disco está influenciada
por "The Night's Dawn" trilogía literaria de Peter Hamilton, cuya primera novela lleva por título
"The Reality Dysfunction": hoy comienzo a buscar el libro y -tergiversando un poco- realidad
disfuncional es lo que tenemos ante nosotros... en un buen sentido.
Ozono Player nos entrega una ambientación musical electrónica muy inteligente. Este es un
disco interesantísimo para escuchar, te guste o no el género.
La tecnología y aquellos que saben cómo explotarla, presentan muchas vías para la creatividad.
Si a esto agregamos una mente creativa el resultado es tan interesante como "Insane Logic".
El finlandés Pakarinen se mueve de los temas electrónicos "clásicos" (?) como "Whales In Fog"
o "Shipping" a la ambientación con todo y sonidos de teléfonos, todos los sonidos de la noche, etc.
como en "The Reality Dysfunction", que bien podría ser un pequeño soundtrack, pasando por mi favorita
"Casino Mobile" (que aunque no exactamente, pero nos da una idea de cómo sonaría Yes o Jon&Vangelis
como una "voz" en un Roland) y el desarrollo de voces a lo largo de todo el disco.
Destacan "Praise", "Insane Logic" así como "Warezz" y "Transport?!" que le imprime un buen toque final a todo el disco.

According to Otso Pakarinen (Ozone Player) the author, the music in this
disc has been influenced by Peter Hamilton's literary trilogy "The Night's
Dawn", whose first novel is called "The Reality Dysfunction": I've been
looking into this book today and -shifting a little- dysfunctional reality
is what we've got in front of us.. In a good sense.
Ozone Player delivers a very intelligent musical ambient. This is a very
much interesting disc to listen to either you like the style or not.
Technology and those who know how to use it, present a lot of ways for
creativity. If we add up a creative mind the result is as interesting as
"Insane Logic".
The Finnish Pakarinen goes through the "classic" (?) electronic themes like
"Whales in Fog" or "Shipping" to a complete atmosphere with telephone
sounds, night sounds, etc, as is "The Reality Dysfunction", that could be
like a soundtrack, and my favorite "Casino Mobile" (this will give you an
idea of how Yes or Jon & Vangelis will sound with a "voice" in a Roland,
well not exactly) and the development on the whole disc.
Remarkable track are "Praise", "Insane Logic" as well as "Warezz" and
"Transport?!" that give a rounded touch to the whole disc.
